ALIGARH, September 16: Mohammad Sauban Mir Khan, a Class XI student of Syed Hamid Senior Secondary School (10+2), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), has been selected for the Indian Junior Team for the World Skate Games 2026, scheduled to be held from October 2 to 18 in Asunción, Paraguay.
Sauban has represented Uttar Pradesh in several national-level roller skating competitions and has built an impressive record over the years. He won a Silver Medal in the 7–11 years age category in 2019–20 and later served as Captain of the Uttar Pradesh Team in the Sub-Junior (12–15 years) category in 2022–23, when the team secured Gold, and in the Junior (13–19 years) category in 2023–24, when it won Silver.
His record includes participation in nine National Championships, three Federation Cups and five All India Open Championships, reflecting his sustained involvement in competitive roller skating.
The school has congratulated Sauban on his selection for the Indian Junior Team and expressed the hope that he will perform well at the international event.
