Anganwadi centres across villages in Uttar Pradesh’s Shravasti district are transforming into multi-service hubs focused on early education, health, and nutrition. In Jamunaha block’s Kori Purwa and Khalifatpur centres, children are engaged through play-based activities, rhymes, alphabet learning, and dedicated learning kits. Beyond basic childcare, the facilities are equipped with chairs, mats, painted classrooms, and kitchens. Administrative operations are tracked digitally through the Poshan Tracker platform. The centres also monitor the health and nutritional intake of pregnant women, lactating mothers, and young children, while distributing essential rations and delivering primary healthcare support across rural communities.
