Jaipur: Rajasthan University vice-chancellor Prof Bhagwati Prasad Saraswat has been appointed nodal officer for the Standing Committee on Education to Employment and Enterprises by the higher and technical education department. The initiative aims to link higher and technical education with employment and entrepreneurship, promote technical innovation and skill development, and create new job opportunities for youth. It also seeks to strengthen coordination between educational institutions, industry and technology sectors. Joint secretary Mahendra Kumar Sharma issued the appointment to coordinate initiatives in the computer and information services sector, in line with Union Budget recommendations.
