Hyderabad: 25th September, 2026: The Premia Academy proudly hosted Premia MUN 2026, its annual Model United Nations conference, bringing together young diplomats for a conference shaped by debate, diplomacy and decision-making across six committees.
The ceremony was graced by chief guest Mr. Pramod Sukhija, an industry consultant and strategic technology leader specializing in cloud platforms and AI-enabled design, who shared insights on industrial and digital transformation. The event commenced with a grand opening ceremony hosted by student secretariat members Hamzaa Farooq and A. Sai Shrutika. A classical dance performance marked the formal start of proceedings, and delegates, ready to represent their assigned roles, took their seats with confidence as the conference began.
Over the course of the conference, committees such as the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), the All-India Political Parties Meet (AIPPM), the Indian Film Industry (IFI) Committee, the Continuous Crisis Committee (CCC), and a specially themed Marvel Crisis Committee deliberated on issues ranging from humanitarian sanctions and Indian education reform to film certification, Soviet-era sovereignty disputes, and cross-dimensional diplomacy. Delegates showcased strong research, negotiation skills, and the ability to build consensus amidst diverse viewpoints, with standout moments including in-character press interviews and pointed exchanges that tested delegates’ preparedness on the floor.
Throughout the conference, an International Press team moved across committees, documenting proceedings through articles, interviews and photography, capturing not only committee outcomes but also the personalities and unexpected moments that defined this year’s edition.

Watching them navigate six very different committees with equal confidence tells me we’re raising a generation that isn’t afraid to engage with complexity.”
