Vice-President of India, Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan, will visit Tamil Nadu on September 21, 2026, and participate as the Chief Guest at the Centenary Conference of the UPASI (United Planters’ Association of Southern India) Tea Research Foundation (UPASI TRF) at Coonoor, The Nilgiris.
The UPASI Tea Research Foundation (UPASI TRF), the premier scientific research institution serving the tea industry of South India, traces its origins to October 1926, when it was established as the Tea Experimental Station at Gudalur.
