Demonstrators from India’s ‘Cockroach Janta Party’ have taken to the streets, calling on the country’s chief electoral commissioner to resign.Their demand comes after a controversial voter roll revision, which demonstrators say amounts to electoral manipulation. The party emerged back in May as an online satirical movement, but has now become emboldened across political issues, after helping to successfully oust India’s education minister.
