Aligarh, September 21: Prof. S. Ali Nawaz Zaidi, Professor, Department of Law, Aligarh Muslim University emphasised that rapid technological transformation demands dynamic, interdisciplinary and future-ready legal frameworks.
Addressing the second International Law Seminar, titled “Governing Tomorrow: Interdisciplinary Pathways in Law, Technology, Sustainability, Governance and Economic Development”, organised by the Department of Law, Prestige Institute of Management & Research (PIMR), Gwalior, in memory of the late Shri Justice M. A. Shah, Prof. Zaidi highlighted the growing impact of technology on law and society.
He stressed the importance of integrating law with technology, sustainability, governance and economic development to ensure responsive legal systems and effective governance. Prof. Zaidi also called upon legal institutions, researchers and students to understand emerging technologies and contribute to an ethical, inclusive and accountable legal system.
The two-day seminar brought together academicians, legal professionals, researchers and students for academic deliberations on emerging issues at the intersection of law, technology, sustainability, governance and economic development.
