The collaboration seeks to strengthen industry-aligned cybersecurity education and build practical capabilities for an evolving digital workforce
New Delhi : Medhavi Skills University (MSU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association), a global professional association supporting the global workforce in governance, cybersecurity, risk management, assurance, data privacy and emerging technology, to strengthen industry-relevant learning and professional development in emerging technology domains.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Pravesh Dudani, Founder & Chancellor, Medhavi Skills University, and Mr. Chris DeMale, VP, Global Accredited Partners, ISACA, in the presence of Mr. Mohasin Tahasildar, Director, Awarding Body, and Mr. Devender K. Saini, Group Chief Operating Officer, from Medhavi Skills University.
MSU and ISACA will explore opportunities for academic and curriculum integration, including ISACA-aligned certifications and learning pathways across relevant programmes. The partnership will also facilitate workshops, seminars, guest lectures, bootcamps and webinars featuring industry professionals and subject matter experts.
A key focus will be faculty development, with opportunities for faculty members to engage with ISACA’s standards, resources and training tools. The partnership will further explore opportunities to support student career readiness through mentorship, networking initiatives, internships and access to ISACA’s professional community, helping learners gain greater exposure to professional practices and evolving technology roles.
Mr. Pravesh Dudani, Founder & Chancellor, Medhavi Skills University, said, “ISACA’s global leadership in information systems audit & cybersecurity, digital trust and technology governance makes this collaboration particularly valuable for MSU. By bringing its expertise and professional ecosystem closer to our students and faculty, we aim to strengthen global exposure, industry readiness and the capabilities needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving technology landscape.”
Mr. Chris DeMale, VP, Global Accredited Partners, ISACA, said, “MSU’s focus on bridging the gap between industry and academia is commendable, particularly as technology continues to reshape the skills required by the workforce. This collaboration provides an opportunity for both organisations to share knowledge and learn from each other, while enabling students and faculty to benefit from ISACA’s global resources, professional expertise and recognised certification pathways.”
The collaboration comes at a time when organisations are increasingly seeking professionals equipped with strong, industry-relevant practical cybersecurity capabilities. The Indian Cyber Security Skilling Landscape Report 2025–26 by the Data Security Council of India (DSCI) and SANS Institute found that 73% of enterprises and 68% of service providers reported limited availability of skilled cybersecurity candidates, while 63% of enterprises and 59% of providers reported limited hands-on practical skills among candidates.
The collaboration reflects MSU’s broader focus on industry-integrated, skills-based higher education, bringing academic learning closer to professional practice and evolving workforce requirements, in line with its vision of Building a Skills-First India.
