MoSPI signs MoU with Pahle India Foundation, New Delhi to strengthen collaboration in Official Statistics, Research and Data Analysis – India Education | Latest Education News | Global Educational News


The National Statistics Office (NSO), Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Pahle India Foundation (PIF), New Delhi to strengthen collaboration in the areas of official statistics, research, data analysis, capacity building and knowledge sharing.

The signing ceremony was graced by Dr. Saurabh Garg, Secretary, MoSPI, Shri P. R. Meshram, Director General, MoSPI, and Dr. Rajiv Kumar, Chairperson, PIF, Shri Ashish Kumar, Chief Statistician, PIF. The MoU was signed by Ms. Sunitha Bhaskar, Additional Director General, MoSPI, and Mr. Ravi Pokharna, Executive Director, Pahle India Foundation. The occasion was also attended by senior officers/ officials of MoSPI and representatives from the Pahle India Foundation.

The MoU aims to provide a broad framework for collaboration between MoSPI and Pahle India Foundation, New Delhi in areas of mutual interest, including research, data analysis, capacity building and knowledge sharing, with specific collaborative activities to be undertaken based on the priorities of MoSPI.
