Oracle Academy champions AI curriculum adoption at the second National Education Conclave 2026, Delhi, India

Artificial intelligence and digital transformation are completely reshaping the future of work. As educational institutions across India work to keep pace, building a direct bridge between academic learning and career expectations has never been more critical. This pressing topic took center stage at the 2nd National Education Conclave (NEC 2026), held September 11–12, 2026, in Delhi. Oracle Academy established a commanding presence at the event as the official Global Technology & AI Education Partner, with high-impact speaking slots, targeted workshops, and dedicated ecosystem-building.

Presentation highlights engagement across India’s higher education landscape

On Day 1 of the conclave, Anuradha Sharma, Head of Oracle Academy, South Asia, delivered a compelling technology presentation that emerged as a major talking point. She focused heavily on the vital role of digital skills, AI literacy, and industry-ready ecosystems in modernizing today’s higher education frameworks.

Later in the day, she took the stage as Session Lead and Moderator for two pivotal panel discussions focused on transforming graduates into job-ready professionals.

Panel Discussion 1: Bridging the Employability Gap: Industry-Academia Partnerships for Future Talent

Bringing an education-focused perspective to the dialogue on preparing students for an evolving world of work, Anuradha led an engaging discussion alongside Dr. Manoj Kumar (IAS Retd.), President of Singhania University; Dr. Sheetalkumar Rawandale, President of the All India TPO Association; Dr. Jayaram, President of the Telangana Training and Placement Officers Association (TTPOA); Dr. Sunil Kumar Khatri, Additional Pro Vice Chancellor and Dean (Academics) at Amity University, Noida; and Mr. Vicky Maheshwari, COO & CAO of Santosh Deemed to be University, Ghaziabad. Together, they explored how enduring industry-academia collaboration can connect academic learning with the career capabilities employers need.

Anuradha emphasized that bridging the employability gap begins with embedding industry-relevant learning into teaching curriculum. She connected this approach to Oracle Academy’s global mission of supporting educational institutions through free access to industry-standard technology, Java and database curricula, and cloud learning resources. Integrating these resources into academic programs helps students translate conceptual knowledge into practical skills while building a strong foundation for further learning in emerging technologies, including AI.

Panel Discussion 2: Future Skills & Workforce Readiness: Preparing Graduates for Industry 5.0

On Day 2, Anuradha guided a forward-looking conversation on preparing graduates for Industry 5.0, where technological advancement is shaped by human-centricity, resilience, and sustainability. Joining her were Dr. Raghuveer Raman, Vice Chancellor of SRM University, Sonipat; Prof. (Dr.) Ankit Gandhi, Pro Vice-Chancellor of the University of Technology, Jaipur; Mr. Aman Dhingra, Vice President of Business Growth & Strategy at Camu; and Prof. (Dr.) Shuchi Mehra, Professor & HOD at CGC University. The discussion explored how institutions can nurture graduates who combine technical proficiency with adaptability, interdisciplinary thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively with AI and intelligent systems.

Reflecting Oracle Academy’s role as the event’s Global Technology & AI Education Partner, Anuradha highlighted the importance of making technology education an integral part of the student journey. She outlined how early exposure to enterprise technologies, cloud resources, and database concepts can strengthen the foundations students need to engage in increasingly AI-enabled workplaces. Her message underscored the value of sustained industry-academia collaboration in preparing graduates to apply technology thoughtfully, continue learning, and contribute with confidence to the future workforce.

Participation impacted ecosystem

Throughout the two-day conclave, the Oracle Academy team engaged with key institutional stakeholders through several channels, including the following.

  • Positioned as the premier knowledge partner in technology and AI skill development, the team engaged with 400-plus participants through keynotes, panels, and roundtables.
  • At the event booth, the team was able to speak with more than 200 prospective members regarding membership benefits.
  • During one-on-one meetings, the team engaged in dedicated dialogues with regulatory bodies including AICTE and AITPO, creating strong foundations for large-scale institutional and national-level training collaborations.

Workshop Focus: Aligning Curriculum with Enterprise AI Demands

A highlight of the conclave was the dedicated Oracle Academy Workshop, which successfully addressed the immediate technical needs of more than 35 key stakeholders and top-tier decision-makers — including vice chancellors, deans, directors, and heads of departments (HODs).

The workshop deeply explored best practices and processes to accelerate the pipeline for direct Oracle Academy curriculum adoption. Highlighting its massive success and educational value, the session recorded an exceptional Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 82.
