The wedding date of Samajwadi Party MP Priya Saroj and cricketer Rinku Singh has been finalised. The couple will tie the knot on December 4 at the Ramada Hotel in Lucknow. Following the confirmation of the wedding date, both families have begun preparations for the ceremony.
Apart from family members, close relatives and special guests are expected to attend the wedding. Rinku Singh is among the well-known players in the Indian cricket team, while Priya Saroj is the Samajwadi Party MP from Machhlishahr in Uttar Pradesh.

HOW RINKU AND PRIYA’S LOVE STORY STARTED
Rinku revealed in an interview after their engagement in 2025 how his love story with Priya started. The Indian cricketer revealed that he saw the Samajwadi Party MP’s picture on a fan page and was initially unsure about texting her.
But once he saw Priya liked a few of his photos, he got the courage to message her and they quickly formed a bond.
“It started during the COVID years when the IPL was in Mumbai,” Rinku said. “I saw her photo on a fan page about some voting in her village. I thought she was perfect for me, but I was unsure about texting her at first. When she liked a couple of my photos, I finally messaged her, and that’s how it began. Soon, we were talking regularly, even before matches. That’s when I started feeling the love in 2022,” said Rinku, as quoted by Times Of India.
Priya has shown her support to Rinku while he is playing, appearing at the Eden Gardens to cheer for the KKR star during his matches.
Rinku is currently not part of the Indian team that is playing Afghanistan in the T20I series.
