Aligarh, September 21: Dr. Wasifullah Khan, Associate Professor, University Polytechnic, Aligarh Muslim University, emphasised the importance of corporate readiness, practical exposure and skill development for students at a special programme titled “The Role of Internship in Career Development”, recently organised at the ACN College of Engineering & Management Studies (ACNCEMS), Aligarh.
Delivering the keynote address, Dr. Khan explained the importance of internships in providing students with practical industry exposure and helping them prepare for professional careers.
Dr. M. Wasi Baig, Director, ACNCEMS, welcomed the speaker and students. He highlighted the institution’s efforts to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world industrial requirements.
Dr. R.A. Chudhary, Chairman, ACN Group, commended the management and faculty members for organising career-oriented programmes for students.
The programme was coordinated and anchored by students Hira and Aafia. It concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, during which students discussed various opportunities for securing meaningful internships.
