Mumbai, October 16, 2026:

24 voices that audiences discovered and cheered for on Indian Idol are coming together on one stage for a new challenge. Sony Entertainment Television (SET) and Sony LIV present ‘Indian Idol Legends Return’, bringing celebrated singers from across seasons together as 12 competing duos. Produced by Fremantle, the show premieres on October 17 and airs every Saturday and Sunday at 8:00 PM.

Returning as Superstar Judge is Himesh Reshammiya, while Aditya Narayan takes on hosting duties. Adding another layer to the show, the singers will be evaluated both by Himesh and by their fellow contestants, bringing different musical perspectives and the stakes of competing against one another to the judging process.

Featuring singers like Abhijeet Sawant, Amit Sana, Salman Ali, Sayli Kamble and more the season gives audiences an opportunity to reconnect with familiar voices and discover new musical partnerships. Each duo will have to find its own rhythm, build chemistry and deliver performances that truly stand out against an experienced field.

Built around the thought, “Sirf ek baar jeetna kaafi nahi hota, baar baar jeetna padta hai,” ‘Indian Idol Legends Return’ challenging the 12 duos to earn the audience’s support all over again. Their past performances may have made them favourites, but new pairings and fresh competition will put their versatility, teamwork, and musical instincts to the test.
