Mumbai, November 2, 2026: Namit Malhotra’s Ramayana: Part One has crossed 50 crore gross in cumulative India advance bookings for the opening weekend, with three days remaining before its November 5 theatrical release. The Nitesh Tiwari directorial is witnessing an encouraging expansion in bookings beyond its opening day, particularly for Saturday, as additional cinemas and screenings come online. The milestone comes during a crucial period for the film, with the final booking phase expected to determine the strength of its Diwali opening.
According to Sacnilk’s overall advance booking tracker, the film had generated approx. 49.75 crore gross including blocked seats from approximately 11.87 lakh tracked tickets across 37,685 shows in 1,738 cinemas as of the 1:20 PM update. Including Sunday bookings, the cumulative advance has crossed 50 crore. Hindi continues to dominate with approximately 84% of the gross, followed by Kannada at 9% and Telugu at 5%.
Ramayana India Advance Booking Day-Wise Breakdown
The following table presents the latest detailed booking checkpoint for the currently listed show dates, with all advance gross figures including blocked seats.
Saturday has emerged as the most interesting development in the latest booking trend. Its advance gross has climbed from 6.50 crore in the early hours of Monday to 10.25 crore by the afternoon checkpoint, an increase of approximately 56%. The sharp rise is being supported by expanding show availability, although fresh seat allocations also contribute to the growth. With Sunday bookings yet to be reflected separately in this checkpoint, the film still has room to expand its overall weekend advance total.
Hindi Leads While Premium Formats Drive High Value Bookings
Premium formats are another important contributor to Ramayana’s booking performance. IMAX, 4DX, Dolby Cinema, ICE and EPIQ screenings have collectively generated approximately 9.50 crore gross including blocked seats, accounting for around 19% of the total from only about 2% of tracked shows. This concentration highlights the revenue potential of premium screenings, although their limited capacity means regular 2D and 3D formats will ultimately determine the film’s wider audience reach.
At the state level, Maharashtra leads with 10.50+ crore gross, followed by Delhi at 7.50 crore and Karnataka at 7.30 crore, all including blocked seats. Telangana is recording stronger occupancy than several larger Hindi markets, while Tamil-language bookings remain relatively limited despite the film’s multi-language rollout. The contrast suggests that Ramayana’s opening could depend not only on Hindi-market demand but also on how effectively the Telugu and Tamil versions expand their theatrical presence during the final booking days.
The focus now shifts to whether Ramayana can turn its growing booking momentum into a massive opening. With the cumulative ₹50 crore milestone reportedly achieved before the final booking rush, the film has established a substantial pre-release foundation. However, the pace of fresh ticket sales, screen availability and audience response during the Diwali period will be crucial in determining how high its opening weekend can go.
