by BollywoodNewsAndMovie

The opening week of Bigg Boss 20 has already produced its share of drama, arguments and viral moments. Among the 16 contestants introduced by host Salman Khan, singer Qazi Touqeer has quickly carved out a space for himself.

From impromptu singing sessions to heated exchanges, Qazi has remained at the centre of several conversations inside the house. His energetic personality has also spilled onto social media, with clips from the show and live feed attracting attention.

His trademark line, “I’m a Rockstar baby, aau!” has further added to his growing popularity.

Salman Gives Qazi A Special Shout-Out

The first Weekend Ka Vaar brought a major moment for Qazi. Salman Khan acknowledged his larger-than-life presence and playfully declared him the house’s ultimate rockstar.

“Iss ghar main kitne bhi stars hain, rockstar toh ek hi hai Qazi Touqeer. Poore week main apne Owww karke chal rahe the… Mujhe sikha do na ‘I am a rockstar baby.’ (There may be many stars in this house, but there’s only one rockstar, and that’s Qazi Touqeer. All week, you have been walking around going ‘Owww!’ Teach me too: ‘I am a rockstar, baby.’)” Salman said.

The host then turned Qazi’s signature dance move into a fun house-wide moment. He asked the other contestants to copy the step alongside Qazi. Everyone joined in, while Salman admitted in jest that pulling off the move was not exactly easy for him.

Qazi’s Confidence Is Drawing Comparisons

However, Qazi’s growing visibility is not the only thing viewers have noticed. His habit of highlighting his achievements and placing himself at the heart of conversations has reminded some viewers of Tanya Mittal. One live-feed clip showed Qazi speaking about his love for coffee.

He claimed that he had created a special “coffee tanki” at his home in Kashmir, designed much like a water tank, because of his fondness for the beverage. Another social-media clip featured an equally striking claim. Qazi said he is a commando and can complete 20 push-ups in five minutes.

‘I am not a normal person’

Qazi also made a surprising statement while speaking with Arishfa. Reflecting on his energy levels despite barely sleeping, he told her, “Main normal insaan nahi hoon. Tum socho main 3 din mein 1 ghanta soya hoon fir bhi energetic hoon (I am not a normal person. I have slept only for 1 hour in 3 days and still I am energetic).”

Whether his unusual claims become another source of entertainment or fuel more debates inside the house remains to be seen.

From Fame Gurukul To Bigg Boss

Long before entering the Bigg Boss house, Qazi had already experienced the spotlight. He rose to national fame in 2005 after winning the reality singing competition Fame Gurukul with Ruprekha Banerjee. The victory made the Kashmiri singer one of the familiar faces of India’s reality-TV era.

Now, years later, Qazi is attempting another reality-show comeback, and his explosive first week suggests he has no intention of staying in the background.
