The Indian School of Business (ISB) has announced a series of new initiatives to mark its 25th anniversary. The initiatives aim to make management education more accessible and strengthen research and teaching in India.As part of the announcement, ISB has introduced the ISB25 Scholars Programme. Under this programme, the institute will offer 250 scholarships every year across its Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) and Post Graduate Programme in Management for Young Leaders (PGP YL).The scholarships will be offered based on students’ merit and financial need. Selected students will receive 100%, 50%, 30% or 25% tuition fee waivers.
ISB to set up India Research Commons
ISB has also announced plans to establish the India Research Commons. It will be a national platform aimed at supporting researchers across India.The platform will provide access to curated datasets, research tools, methodological resources and artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled research infrastructure.
National faculty development programme
The institute will also launch a national faculty development programme for management institutions across the country.Through this programme, ISB plans to share its teaching methods, classroom practices and technology-enabled learning approaches with other management institutions.According to ISB, these initiatives are part of its efforts in recent years to align its academic programmes with the changing needs of learners and industry.
